On Wednesday 5th December we held one of our popular pop-ups – Popstrami, in the cookery school. The team behind 2011″²s storming Popstrami event in Bournville joined forces once again to bring the magic of an authentic New York Deli, to Stirchley.
We started with a Jewish Cup-o-Soup, with a massive matzoh ball. Followed by a Brummie Reuben Sandwich “Breuben”; Ox cheek pastrami, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and special sauce on Stirchley Rye, a salt-cured pickle selection, and topped off with a beautiful vanilla cheesecake for afters. Mmmmm.
